Role Overview

We are looking for 1–2 Support/QA Interns to assist our technical team with software testing, issue investigation, internal support activities, and ticket triaging.

You will work closely with QA, support, backend, and mobile developers to help identify issues faster, maintain clean ticket flow, validate fixes, and support reliable day-to-day software operations.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in Software QA, Technical Support/Support Engineering, or Backend Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Reproduce reported issues and document clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and supporting information
Assist QA with smoke testing, regression testing, and pre-release validation
Validate fixes across web, API, Android, and iOS environments where applicable
Perform basic API testing and verification using Postman or Insomnia
Monitor available application logs and flag unusual errors or behaviour
Triage incoming technical issues and help determine their priority and responsible team
Track tickets and follow up with developers until verification or closure
Maintain testing checklists, issue records, SOPs, and internal technical documentation
Assist with post-release verification and basic application health checks
Coordinate with internal teams to gather information required for investigation
Follow established escalation, incident reporting, and QA processes

Required Skills

Basic understanding of software applications, mobile apps, and APIs
Ability to systematically test software and reproduce reported issues
Basic familiarity with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API testing tools
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Good analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow structured processes and checklists
Willingness to learn technical tools and investigate unfamiliar problems

Bonus Skills

Basic Linux or terminal/command-line knowledge
Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods/status codes
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
Exposure to Jira, ClickUp, GitLab Issues, or other ticket/bug-tracking systems
Basic knowledge of application logs
Familiarity with Android and/or iOS testing workflows
Previous QA, software testing, university project, or technical support experience

Compensation

Internship Allowance: BDT 6,000/month
